The Finland area can also claim some of the most spectacular hiking on the north shore. The Superior Hiking Trail (SHT) along with any number of hikes around the many state parks will get you to some pretty awesome vistas of not only Lake Superior but the beautiful Sawtooth Mountains. There are several waterfalls that are accessible without a trek into the woods and even an "Official North Shore Waterfall Tour"! Lake Superior is just a short drive away. You can find a number of overlooks for your photo opt or selfie! We'd recommend Palisade Head and Shovel Point for sure!
